I went to Rick’s on a Friday evening around 01:25. The club is on the ground floor of an office building in downtown Minneapolis. There was a $12 cover charge. A bouncer then lead me to a table. I ordered a bottle of Sincweiser and was shocked by the $9 price tag. After another $1 to tip the waitress, I was out $10 for a single drink! At least the waitress Stassi was sexy. The club is long and dark. The main stage is all the way on the back wall. It did not have a pole, so dancers mostly strut, stretch, and touch themselves on stage.

There is an air blower built into the surface of the stage. It gives an added effect of blowing the dancers hair or dollars into the air. The carpeting of the club must be built over wooden planks because every time a guy or the heavier of the two waitresses walked by, I could feel an earthquake. There is an elevated area on the back right side of the room that looked to be a premium seating area.

Floor dances at your table are $20. Half hour rooms are around $240. Hour rooms are around $420. The floor dances seemed to be the option most of the patrons were jumping at. It seemed like contact was mostly one way on the floor. At the end of the night, I pushed the envelope and got grabby. The two dancers I was with did not seem to care that I was cupping their boobs and caressing their asses out in the open. Don’t expect a great grind on the floor because the rolling barrel chairs prevent dancers from straddling patrons.
