I'll be back!

Took off from work last Friday because I have a bunch of vacation days that I need to use before the end of the year. Seeing as I prefer an afternoon type of crowd at clubs, I figured I would make the 45 minute drive to check out the Playhouse Lounge for the first time. I ended up having a great time for the 1 hour that I was there.

The Club:

The club is located on US-130 about 1 mile north of a Wawa in case you want to hit up an ATM or buy some drinks beforehand, as The Playhouse Lounge is a juice/soda bar. I had forgotten that I had read this was the case, so I showed up drinkless, which is a mistake I won’t do again. Fountain sodas were $5 a piece (prior to a tip) and rather small in portion. The bar tender, a tiny dishevelled woman in her 50’s with a pimp limp, was attentive though to ask about refills when I finished my drinks. I am assuming that if you bring your own drinks, they put them in a cooler with your name on them and you tip $1 to get one. I’ll find out on my next trip.
