Daytime is Funtime

I visited Follies a few times over the past year. I picked different days and times. Often, I would try to get there earlier but, with traffic, it can be hard to gauge a good time to arrive and depart. Overall, I find this bar too crowded to have fun. The dancers know when it is packed that they do not have to work too hard.. I would often get up to piss and my seat would be gone.. Sometimes, bar service would be slow.. I HATE the rap music. It is so loud, it is hard to hear the girl right next to you.. I am from the Detroit area and our nudie bars had more of a mix of Hard Rock and R&B type songs...Last time, a dancer recommended that I come by on a week day afternoon.

The other times I had been were on Saturdays and later on afternoons... This time, I chose a Wednesday and I arrived at 12:30 pm. It was still more people than I expected. I was able to get a seat at the bar. Service from the bartender was fast and steady. A few dancers came by and asked for dances. Overall, a friendly vibe. I enjoyed a mixed drink, then switched to beer. A friendly blonde that I had danced with before came by. I bought her a few drinks, we exchanged stories. All was pleasant. She wanted to VIP. I told her maybe just a few dances back in the regular area.

She was very money motivated and convinced me my best value was to do the VIP and we could spend a full half hour together back there. She was great and very unrushed. I think she was happy that she had a customer when so many other dancers were just meandering and sitting around.. We had a great time in VIP. I was able to bolt out of there around 3pm.. I made it back home easily before the traffic started. I think I would only consider visiting Follies early on a weekday in the future...
