Renewed old Acquaintance

After a short visit to BM, passed by Sugar 44 about 5 PM to see if maybe the famous Mustang might be holding court. And if she wasn't I had had really nice afternoon dances there in the past. Intention was drop in, have a beer and go.

As I walked in, there she was in one of her signature long dresses and gave me a huge smile. Another PL came in behind and sat right near the door. SHE greeted him and gave a big hug then went in the back and out came a really hot blond and sat with him a while.

I wandered around a bit, found a seat and ordered an amber draft and watched while one dancer finished up. Then, Mustang came to the stage. I a tip on the stage and sat back down. she acknowledged it. After her set was over she came right to me and greeted me and we talked about the Christies days, her kid, and other topics. Geez, it has been 12 years since I first had the pleasure. I used to see her at least once a month at lunch time. I have been gone from PHX for a good 6 years now. It was good to be back in the Valley of the Hotties for a bit. I will be back in January with the rest of the Snow Birds.
