Groundhog Day

Haven't been to Atlantis in a while and stopped by on a recent Thursday night at about 11:30. Just like the movie Groundhog Day, some things never change. Vanity the annoying barmaid still trying to pressure customers for bigger tips. I'd rather squeeze water from a cactus than order a drink from her. Good thing there was another barmaid otherwise I would have left. Also, the creepy Indian guy who never seems to spend a dime is still lurking near the couch dance room. Does he ever go home? And why does the club allow this leering parasite hang around every night, all night, when he doesn't spend money?

On to other subjects: the talent on this night was a little disappointing. I didn't see any ugly girls - just consistent mediocrity. There weren't many customers so the girls seemed a little desperate and were aggressively pushing couch dances right away with minimal conversation. A turnoff. I was looking to spend money, but considering the lack of alluring girls, and the creep lurking near the couch dance area, I decided to pass on doing any couch dances. This used to be a favorite place but maybe this was just an off night.
