Kill time at Camelot
I visited here once I arrived too early to Dupont for a happy hour. I had nearly two hours to spare so I entered Camelot. The bouncer met me at the door and had no trouble getting in. There was no cover. Inside, was narrow with tables on either side with the stage towards the back closer to the bar. I sat two tables away from the stage. It was around 5pm, so I didn't have super high expectations with either the crowd or the dancers. The lighting was dim, a few older guys with white hair were closer to the stage. I ordered a $10 light beer and chilled. The DJ did a nice job with a great mix of recent and mid 2000s hip-hop with some rock accents for certain dancers.
Most of the dancer's bodies looked very similar: slim, tight asses, small B-cup breasts with a mix of black, white, middle eastern-ish, and latinas. There was something for everyone. I saw about 8 different dancers and only one went around asking for tips. The others didn't seem to interested in collecting. Half the guys there at this time seemed to be regulars as the dancers had good report with them. It's DC so no lap dances were allowed, but I didn't go up to the stage once to toss a few ones to one of the dancers with a big ass. She seemed pretty cool at first as I complimented her, but she left in the middle of her song, disappointing me.
The waitress was the worst part of the experience. There weren't many people there and she struggled remembering my one drink order and bringing it to me in a decent time. Service was poor. Can't image what a busy night would look like. She asked me three times if I wanted food even though I told her no and she had already collected the menu. Also, she wasn't even remotely attractive, but that's fine. I wasn't there to see her ass.
