Strange visit - WTF?

Visited around 830 p.m. on a Thursday evening. After paying the $15 cover, I entered club. As I passed through the door I saw their chalkboard with the days specials. It said something like "$20 nude couch dance". Ok, sounds good. Since I had been driving several hours I immediately went to the mens room. On the walls of the mens room there were several flyers that said '$20 nude couch dance. If any entertainer charges differently please see management" or something to that effect. Seemed odd, but whatever. I went to the bar and got a beverage.

A very attractive young dancer came over and struck up a conversation. After the requisite amount of banter, she offered a dance. Perfect - couldn't wait to see under her very ample bikini top. I ask her the cost and she says '$20 topless for 90 seconds and $50 for nude'. Huh, I say, what is the $20 nude couch dance. She says 'I hate when they do that. That is wrong. I don't do nude dances for less than $50, and nor do any of the other dancers I know.' I say, well that's weird because it is all over the bathroom walls that the price of a nude couch dance is $20. Then these red lights go off up in the ceiling. She says something like - well, now its two for one dances. Ok, I say, 'let's go'. As we are walking over to the dance are she says 'oh, no wait. That's Tuesday or Wednesday. I think today's special is ...' I can't remember exactly but it was something like a VIP room special. So she goes back to the $20 for a 90 second topless dance.

At this point I left. Primarily because I had about 45 minutes to spare on my drive up north and time was up. Secondarily because the banter was all about her family problems - not a great way to start our business relationship. Anyway, couple the banter with her confusion about the cost just kind of turned me off. Ever hear about a 90 second dance? Isn't it usually so much per song? Or at the Lansing Vu its $20/a set time (IDK, 3, 4, 5 minutes or something).
