You need to visit

Before I made my first trip to the Palace and more specifically the Royalty Room in the back of the same building I tried to read a lot of reviews. They gave me some idea that I probably wanted to go there, but I was still curious. What I would tell everyone is that they need to just go there, maybe spend a couple of hours, meet all of the dancers in the back and make friends with them, and then make up their own minds.

As a general matter, this place is very low key. Most people walk into a strip club and expect to see maybe a bunch of guys with a handful of singles and some dancers on stage. Well, this place's stage is on the floor, not elevated, but there is a little wall that surrounds the stage and is maybe table height, so there is some separation. Also, there usually aren't a lot of guys there at any given time. You might arrive at 10:30 on a Friday night and see only two or three other people there. That is typical. Probably there are a couple or three other guys enjoying private dances in the VIP.

My suggestion is that you go there, and pay the 15 dollar cover. You go in a separate entrance in the back of the same building in which Palace in the Pines is in the front. Palace in the Pines is the operation in the front, and Royalty Room is the operation in the back. They share the same building, but there is no connection inside between the two.
