evening impressions of Kittens
Hello again. Second visit to Kittens, this time in the evening as opposed to my earlier reviewed trip which occurred in the afternoon. Wanted to get a sense of the differences here between two distinctly different times of day.
Can see how parking can be an issue on a weekend evening and probably a lot of weekday late nights, but I snagged a spot in the lot behind the club and adjacent bar without a hassle. THIS time, I stopped in at the bar next door beforehand for a drink before entering the club. They had a lame blues band playing WAY TOO LOUD, which was annoying, but besides that the bar is pretty decent and worth getting a beer or cocktail before or during visiting the gentleman's club. But you aren't here for an assessment of the Dawg Pound bar, so onward.
As I stated in my initial review, found the size, layout and cleanliness of the club above average, especially compared to total dives like Pandora's. This place is spacious, which I like because I do not want to rub shoulders with other patrons. My m.o. is to chill off to a hopefully more secluded spot away from other dudes and assess the menu. It was evening, but still well before midnight, and there were not many patrons. Probably less than 10 or 12. There were a lot of dancers, probably 15 to 22 out on the floor at any given time.
