An somewhat memorable visit...

Decided to check out the Carousel on the way home from another bar late at night, and the parking lot looked full, so I said why not? There was no charge at the door so that was a good thing; the bad thing was the place was pretty full and there were no stools left to sit in, and the bar area where the dancing was taking place was compact, so I had to stay a wall flower until someone else left their seat. It's a smoking club as well too, so just be prepared to smell like an ashtray when you leave.

2 to 3 girls would do a set in the middle of the bar and would do a round robin around the bar area to get tipped. I thought it was a unique approach to get paid for their efforts. One girl even walked over to where I was, didn't say a word, and put her hand out. I tipped of course, but she blankly stared for a little bit, still didn't say a word, and then walked to the next guy. Maybe she was expecting a 10 spot, who knows lol

Also found out why they didn't charge cover, as you had to buy drinks (expensive mind you) for every dancer's set. Spent $25 on two shots, which I almost turned my head just to confirm if that price was correct. I didn't want to come off as cheap, so I paid that off and stuck to mixed drinks for the rest of the night, which were $11 and some change (which I thought was very weird too, just make it an even $11 or $12).
