OK but the GPS Lurks in the Shadows

First off, I must admit that I’m not really into the big upscale places because of the built-in GPS factor. I prefer smaller bar-type places. However, I am on a mission to hit every spot in SoFL. So I went to Solid Gold on a recent Friday afternoon around 2p. I was in the area and had a little time to kill so I figured I’d check it out. It’s a very nice newly constructed building. It looks like it just needs to be in a higher traffic location to bring in more customers. No cover at this time.

As I walk in, I notice that there’s on dancer on stage and 4 or 5 others walking around in gowns. Their roster was diverse (AA, white, latinas). However, one thing I hate are bolt-on tits and it seemed almost required here. Anyway, I pull up at the bar and the bartender tells me that today is Prime Rib day. I’m not one to eat at a strip club, but this place looked very classy and clean. So I ordered a drink ($9 Tito’s and soda) and checked out the buffet. To my surprise, the food was actually good.

While eating at the bar, I was approached by an older (probably late 30s - early 40s) Jamaican dancer. I say older, but she still had a great body and no tats. She gave me some space to eat and wasn’t pushy. She gave me a run down of the club: $10 floor dances, $30 dances in a more private section, and then $175 for 20min in the VIP area. She hinted that extras come with it, but I had no interest and didn’t inquire any further.
