Quantity Up, Quality Down

I’ll echo something that a recent poster has said. For years, my experience with BSC is that they have extremely high standards for their dancers. This has truly been a 7 up club, no dancers below a 7. Plenty of 8s and even 9s. That means it has always been challenging to get a dance, even if they charge $20 for tame dances.

My most recent visit, this has all changed. There were about 20 dancers working, twice the number I typically find. There were 6s, 7s, and a few 8s. Not bad for most clubs, but a drop off for BSC. Most strikingly, there was a constant flow of dancers asking me if I want to dance. And, it wasn’t just the quick Wanna Dance, but lengthy sales pitches.

If this continues, I’ll be disappointed. BSC has been unique in the quality of dancers. At least this visit, they were like other clubs, except higher cost and lower mileage.
