High Caliber Women in an Unexpected Place

A friend showed me about this website, after looking through a few reviews on his account I decided to make my own account. What better club for my first review than the first club I ever went to. I hadn't visited the Blue Parrot in a few years, as my last experience was somewhat sub-par. My buddy was getting married and wanted a low key night out, so I suggested we give the BP a chance considering the competition in Morgantown is bottom of the barrel... so I figured if it was slightly better than it was last time, it would be better than those.

Walking up outside through the dimly lit parking lot, I always seem to get the feeling I'm going somewhere a lot seedier than the BP actually is... I wonder if they do this on purpose? Outside of the building seemed to be re-painted and cleaner, though. Decor inside was the same as always: A LOT of blacklights, cheap tables and chairs, two 2-story poles on the red LED stage in the back, very small (but well-stocked) bar up front with no barstools and a somewhat rude bartender whom I assume was having a bad day. The music was good and varied from oldies-country-rock-techno, at least there was a DJ working this time so we didn't have to hear silence with every song change (I believe they have a jukebox that only the dancers can access.

Overall, I like the divey sort of atmosphere. It feels relaxed and the dancers made me forget all about any hard feelings I had about the decor... once I sat down at the stage, they were all I could look at anyhow. It was Friday night, so I got to see most of their line up I guess, but i only saw about 8 or 9. The ones I saw, with the exception of one that was, we'll say 'past her expiration date'. My four friends and I got our beers and as many singles as we could and parked ourselves at the stage to see what the place had to offer.
