Could have been better

Stopped in at Criket late on a Friday afternoon to cap off the end of a long work week. Not terribly interested in any dances (short on funds), just wanted to do a little recon to see how the place compared to H8 and Bogart’s where I had been frequenting of late.

No need to describe the place as many others before me have already done so. No valet and no cover starts things off on the right foot. Doorman/bouncer shows me to a table. Order their 2 beers/$9 specials.

A steady stream of dancers make their way to the stage every 2 songs. First 2 songs on the pole near the DJ booth – first one top on then top off. Next 2 songs topless on the other pole while the newly arrived stage dancer repeats the process. Most dancers were ok – no real standouts, but a couple of real porkers.
