Slow start but ended satisfied

Got to the club around 9:30 PM the club had approximately six patrons at that point. It was wild Wednesday so we got a free voucher for a free lap dance with admission. The night got off to a very slow start. We settled in to get an overall feel for the club in the first 4 to 5 dances the music was slow paced and the dancers on the stage had little to no energy. My friend used his voucher for his free dance and came back a little while later ready to leave the bar based on avery unenthusiastic dance delivered by the performer he had chosen. The manager came by to ask how her night was going if we had a chance to use our free vouchers and we informed him that we were actually getting bored and about to fall asleep. He sent another dancer our way we used the free voucher and things started to turn around. The energy of the club starting to pick up around 10:30 even though for most of the night there was no more than 15 people there at any given time. With it being Wednesday night they ran a lot of dance specials, three for the price of two dance specials and $80 VIP versus $100 VIP specials. The manager really did a good job of extending those specials on throughout the night, we were ready to leave after the first 15 minutes until he checked in on us and we ended up staying for four hours and dropping over $1000 between the two of us.
