Sit back and chill.
Each club in the Sacramento area has its own vibe. Gold Club's spacious setting can make it feel hectic and exciting when packed but eerily quiet when empty. Deja Vu is a medium-sized space and I usually feel comfortable there. Pure Gold, on the other hand, being the smallest club by far can seem downright cozy. For such a small space, the club packs in a lot of couches and a lot of big screen TVs. I actually enjoy Pure Gold's as a place to just relax and chill, and if you're a sports fan you can watch a game and almost feel like your watching it in a decked out living room.
My only wish was that the volume for the music was turned down by a third, and that the private dance areas were a little bit more open. The lap dance spaces are better than Deja Vu--which can feel claustrophobic--but are much less comfortable than Gold Club's. That said, the private dance areas are walled off and have a curtain to maximize privacy, so that can be a plus. Bring some $5.00 bills with you though, because the lights won't go off and the dance won't start until you slip a $5.00 bill into a vending machine slot. The dancer will break a larger bill into $5s, but that means waiting a few more minutes for the dance to start, and when I want a dance I want it to start ASAP. No alcohol served I believe, but the club fee comes with a big, red solo cup and all-you-can-drink Pepsi brand soda from a fountain.
In general, the girls look average. None of them are ugly though, and there is usually one or two stand outs that I would rate as 7s. The stage is small, but in general the girls give good stage performances, and much more than the other clubs I am willing to sit at the rail and tip them. Most of the women are actually quite friendly and conversational, and the pressure to get a dance is a lot less than at Gold Club in my experience.
