Should have stayed at the casino

And I say that knowing that there is nothing exciting happening at the casino either. I was out hopping with a couple of friends and ended up here right around midnight on a Saturday night. The only faces I recognized were the bartenders and the waitress. We sat at the bar, got drinks and waited. Only saw maybe three girls sitting around the bar. It was a good 15 minutes before the first dancer appeared on the bar. She went down the other side of the bar and then exited to the dressing room. About 10 minutes later, same routine with another girl.

Finally, a very plain, non-fit girl arrived by us to talk. After the first two sentences came out of her mouth, it was abundantly clear that she was drunk and probably didn't last 3 weeks in high school. She did tell us that there's been a lot of "new" girls lately and half the time she hardly knows any of them. I mentioned that they were lucky to have her then, and my eyes couldn't have rolled harder, but she didn't get the hint. She sat down in the empty (and there were a lot of them) chair and continued to talk.

Finally, a fairly decent brunette who didn't look like she had been around the block 47 times bar walked over to us. We tipped her well and she spent several minutes on the bar talking us up. It was long enough that our Valedictorian finally left. We thought our dancer was going to head over, but as soon as she left the bar, she headed back to the dressing room.
