Slow start, bored dancers, except for one surprising twist...

My buddy took me to EB for my birthday, and we went on a Wednesday evening. Since it was mid-week, I expected that the crowd would be light and that there might not be as many dancers as during busier/better times, and sure enough there weren't that many dancers. The few that were there seemed also kinda bored, which I could understand. It was a slow night. There was one particular dancer who seemed more into it than others, and she kept getting asked by the guys around her for private dances. She was pretty but also seemed somewhat new and awkward, and perhaps a bit surprised that she was getting so much attention when the other dancers weren't getting as much.

I had a couple of dances with a couple of other girls who were hotter than her, but they were kinda perfunctory. However, toward the end of the night, just as my buddy and I were thinking of leaving, this aggressive older dancer came and grabbed us both, along with a cute petite spinner whom I'd been trying to make eye contact with. The older dancer was something else, quite energetic and totally charming. Even though she was older, she still had quite a tight and athletic body, and she had an enthusiasm that was hard to ignore. Pretty soon she got her cuter friend to give me a dance while she went to town on my buddy. We both left with happy smiles. Nothing more than just dancing, and I doubt I'll go back again, but I might try on a busier night.
