Nothing special
Was on a long-haul road trip on I-94 and decided to make a little detour to Sugar Daddies. Probably hadn't been to this club in 15 years. Nothing has really changed except for the dancers. $10 cover to get in at 9 on a Saturday that included a soft drink. The parking lot was quite full when I arrived which kind of surprised me at first. But I think I got there right before a shift change so that might have accounted for the busy-ness. I stayed about two hours and the crowd thinned out over that time. I believe they were open til 2.
This place has the largest stage of any club I've been to and refreshingly, most of the dancers actually put on a show up there. The one drawback to the big "Y" shaped stage is that there are spots where it's hard to actually see the dancer performing from where you're seated.
Strange thing that I've never experienced at other clubs....girls will approach you for lap dances while you're sitting at the stage and a dancer is performing. I came to start my night tipping at the stage, check out the talent and then move back to the couches. But turning down so many offers while at the stage must have marked me as a cheapskate. When I moved back to a table after tipping, none of the hotties would even make eye contact. Very strange. Couldn't they see I had a couple hundred bucks in my pocket? After a half hour of being snubbed, I left without ever getting a dance. I do believe standard dances here are $25 a song compared to the typical $20 in the Twin Cities. From what I could see, didn't appear to be much high mileage on the standard couches. The talent at Sugar Daddies this night seemed to be pretty evenly split between one-third hotties, one-third girls next door and one-third "what the hell are you doing working in a strip club?"
