There and Back Again

I was originally planning on checking out a club I have not visited yet, but I was a little short on funds. It had been a while since I had been to the Vu in Ypsi, and I knew I could have fun with the cash that I had, so I decided it was time to make a return visit. Even with limited funds, I am usually one of the top spenders at the club since most of my competition is broke college students who mostly go there to watch the stage.

A few things have changed since the last time I reviewed this club. The cover charge (on weekends) is now only $10. They no longer include the bottomless drink charge as part of the cover. However, you are required to purchase at least one drink once you enter the club. The other notable change is that it used to be that all girls had to check in by 11pm if they were scheduled to work. It seems now that some girls do not show up until midnight or later. It may be because the club is now open until 6am on the weekend. Perhaps some of these girls do show up earlier and just hide in the dressing room for a while.

I arrived at the Vu on a Saturday evening around 10:30pm. I paid cover and entered the club and found plenty of open tables. There were maybe about 10 other customers in the club, mostly in groups. I sat down and shortly after a waitress stopped by to take my drink order. I ordered a bottle water, which was $6 plus tip.
