First trip to Follies

This is review is from Thursday, Aug 3 – my first time to visit Follies.

I arrived around 6:30ish. The main parking lot was full so I parked in Pep Boys lot based on suggestions here. The sign said “customer parking only” but my car was fine the whole time. 

As I walked up the hill to Follies I noticed two security guards standing in front of a black velvet rope. It all seemed more upscale than I was expecting but once I stepped into the narrow entrance corridor the place instantly felt a bit more seedy, which reassured me this was my kind of place! After showing my ID, the girl gave me a very superficial pat down. I was expecting a little grope based on what I’ve read here but maybe I didn’t tip enough. Who knows?
