Hit or miss

Went back to Penthouse last week for a Friday afternoon getaway from work. I used to come here all the time but haven't been in a year or year and a half. They've rebranded as the Mile High Club. (I remember the days when it was the Mile High Saloon, pre-Penthouse, so it's funny the way things come round in circles.) They have not bought new furniture or otherwise invested in upgrading the physical space. It remains one of the nicer clubs in Denver, however. It appears classy, but don't look too closely.

One of the things that has changed is that they have new talent, however. The place has always been very friendly, and that seemed to be the case still when I was there last week. They didn't have a ton of girls working on a Friday afternoon (I went around 4, left around 6) but there were probably 15 girls working. The talent varied widely from a couple of 9s to mostly 7s and 8s. I sat with a dancer I'd never seen before and was very pleased. I didn't get dances but the nude room is still operational, if you want nude dances upstairs. She was super friendly and didn't mind sitting and talking for the price of a drink. (Things were slow.) Prices haven't shifted much, at least from what we discussed. I think most girls will still do three nudes for $100 but everyone now seems to be asking for $40 dances, which seems obscene to me.

The stage work is still very high quality at Mile High. It's topless downstairs and nude upstairs, but I'm not sure they're even running the nude stage upstairs anymore. Private dances are upstairs and you can get nude or topless dances.
