The Steak House

I was traveling to Portland with a couple other co-workers, my first time here, not theirs. They kept talking about going to dinner at "The Steak House," which sounded good to me. My co-worker drove us down from downtown, and we pull into this divey-looking place, and then I see the sign, and everything suddenly made sense.

I think the biggest surprise was that they actually serve steak here, and it wasn't horrible. Inside, the place is decorated in mid-70's trailer park style. It is weird to be sitting at the 'rail' while eating a steak, while looking at meat flaps. However, I soon got over the strangeness.

The girls were all fairly attractive, a bit tatted up for me, but this is Oregon. The club itself was fairly busy for mid-week. We tipped at the rail, and I saw a place in the back for couch dances, but it didn't seem to get any action, and no one in our group tried it out.
