Going downhill fast
Only reason this place does well is location/monopoly power (and I guess there are rumours of false charges on credit cards). $20 to enter after 9 on weekends unless you get a free pass from a concierge at a nearby hotel and there are many to choose from, doesn't even have to be on where you're staying at. You get to the club, and there's a roped off line, but it doesn't mean club is full, they just like to pretend it is. Marketing BS or something. If you look presentable and have ID, you get inside fairly soon and are "escorted" to the cashier where you pay your "fine" or give the pass.
Then a muscular guy who didn't go to Harvard shows you to a seat. If he doesn't recognize you from before he'll ask what kind of girl you prefer and if possible he'll eventually bring her over and you can chat. Those are no pressure for the most part, since the prices are so high they don't want to ruin their chance. Dances are respectable at $20 each but it's all air, or possibly 95% air if you're on the 2nd floor, small stage, you may get a flyby. Guys hands must be at their sides or under his butt. Champagne Room is very expensive, I don;'t even want to say how much, just that it's nowhere near worth it. Even if you have that much $ to spend and you're a millionaire, you can use the internet and find a 10 and a sure thing and you'll be satisfied.
