Not Much Happening

Stopped in a couple of minutes before 7 p.m. I was ready to pay the cover charge but the cute girl behind the counter just waved me through. By the time I hit the rest room and made in to the bar, it was a few minutes after 7 p.m and happy hour was in effect so I bought my first $1 beer. Perfect timing, so I thought.

Soon discovered that as far as the dancers are concerned this is a dead period. From prior afternoon visits, I recognized a couple of day shift girls, but wasn't approached by any. Seems as if they were ready to end their shifts as they made their way to the dressing room to change.

There were a few mid 20's white and AA dancers on from the early night shift working the floor. A couple stopped by to chat, but neither were my type so I declined their dance offers. A few others from the late shift made their appearances on the floor, but didn't make it my way.
