It's been a long while...

So randomly I get a text from one of my favorite dancers letting me know she is working for the first time in weeks. So I make my way down to the club. It is dark, it is crowded, it is smokey as normal, but it is changing. I am still not sure if it is for the better. The crowd seems the same but the dancers who were the reason you show up to begin with have turned over. Had it not been for the text and me wanting to see this dancer again, I would have left out of lack of connection with the current girls.

I am not trying to be a whiner about things, but so many of my favorites have retired or moved on. I have to build up a new team roster of favorites on my own. I have not been able to connect with the Cuban contingent yet. My favorite type which is white spinners is fading fast. I can either stop going which I do not want to do or man up and be outgoing again and get to know and meet some new dancers. I suppose my next posting will be a rant on how to successfully start fresh when building up a small group of favorite dancers.

It sucks that one has to do this, but stripping is not and never has been a long term career choice for women.
