Relax and Enjoy the View
I had some unsupervised time on my hands, and I decided to swing by the Millstream Inn. I was glad I did. Supposedly the place had been remodeled since my last visit a few years back. I have to say I didn't really notice much in the way of changes. But then I don't visit strip clubs for the decor.
It was a two-beers-for-the-price-of-one evening, which was a good start. Maybe 20-25 guys in the place. A few TVs on, with football game reruns on two of them. (Why on earth do that?) About a half-dozen dancers. Mostly generic looking. Two song sets. Most seemed as if they were simply going through the motions on stage. Only one of them (Tink) made a seriously nice impression on me. I often wonder if the dancers understand that their facial expressions and eye contact are at least as important as their cup size. A smile is very sexy. I would have loved to have taken Tink back for a dance, but she had several suitors and her dance card was full.
I like the low-key feel of the Millstream. Sure there is the post-dance parade for a tip from every patron. (Personally, I'd rather generously tip the dancers I like at the stage.) But it's a nice way to pass an hour or two.
