Better than last year

15 years ago I used to frequent Platinum Plus and when this club opened I started with this one. Without doing a full history here, they started slow without liquor, but were getting better until the local LEO scrutiny increased after problems with a sister club. That brought a bouncer in the lap dance room, and the talent level went downhill - I guess the girls couldn't make any money with the restrictions. Last year I went and the bouncer was finally gone, but the talent had not yet picked up at all. Well, now there's some new hope - at least maybe.

With this last visit there was no bouncer in the LD room and the talent level was noticeably better in the middle of the afternoon. When I first arrived there was a girl on stage who was probably a brunette 8. That doesn't sound like much except it was probably 3 points better than my first impression last year. I watched her walk off the stage and was waiting for her to come out on the floor when another 8 (thin blonde) came by and said hello. Again not much to write home about, but last year the girls all sat at their own table and ignored the customers.

An outgoing 8 was a vast improvement. So I got a few lap dances - still 2 for $30 - and they were pretty good. Reasonably friendly and physically engaging, but nothing Wackos-like. I left after four dances and probably spent less than an hour there in total, but I'll be back with higher expectations than I would have expected before this last visit. I hope they follow through on an opportunity to revitalize the Platinum brand of old.
