Could've shot a cannon and not hurt anyone
I've walked past this place plenty of times after Twins games and wanted to stop by in the afternoon when I was done with work. The day I was there, the place had very few customers or dancers. I believe there were 2-3 dancers and about 3-4 customers total for the time I was there. Very similar to my recent experience at Choice which makes me wonder if day shifts have a future in Mpls clubs.
I got cover waived by stopping first at Sneaky Pete's downstairs. DG is a no alcohol club so I got a plastic cup of coke for about $6 as I recall. There was a doorman/bouncer/bartender. He was surprisingly decent and we chatted a bit as the club was so vacant. At one point, I'm sure I was the only customer in there and no dancers were on the floor. The only other employee was the DJ.
Fortunately, Victoria was working. She is Asian in her early 30s, I think. She wouldn't be the stripper catching everyone's attention if the place was busy but she is one of the coolest strippers I've ever talked to. This was significant because alternating dances and talking to Victoria were the only things to do in the place for most of the time I was there. The other dancer was nearly a phantom and I rarely saw her. I think there might have been a third dancer but she was pretty scarce too.
