Monday Night Football BLOWS

In Detroit for work and took an Uber to the club. Avoided the $7 valet fee. Cover was $10 with a tip bucket by the cashier. Bathroom had a troll so another tip bucket. Club is nice and flashy. Booths were all reserved and the club wasn't crowded. The NFL game was just starting and there were more dancers than customers in the club. A few couples were also hanging out. They honestly seemed to be the only people paying attention to the dancers on stage.

The dancers stage work was nice with good pole tricks but no enthusiasm. Probably due to nobody tipping or really paying attention. After 15 minutes or so was approached by a dancer who chatted me up. Eventually, VIP discussions came up and I was told $25 per dance. I decided to give her a whirl. VIP bouncer needed $20 for the room...ouch. Found out that I would have to pay this for each and every trip back there. That really sucks, but so did my dancer, so I stuck around for 3 songs and little extra tip to get properly hoovered.

Definite extras behind curtains can be negotiated. I would have loved to try a few different flavors of fun, but the $20 toll seemed a waste. Songs were full length so they got that going for them. I would go back only if I had an ATF working there as $45 plus tip to try out the merchandise is too rich for my wallet.
