Going downhill?

EB has been my go-to place in the Northeast for high mileage fun for many years. Unfortunately, many of the dancers who were there when I first started going are still there. And then there is the issue of the ridiculous house fees. In the afternoon (when the dances have better mileage) $20 to the house for each trip back to the VIP dance room and if you're going to the champagne room when the older house frau is behind the bar, you have to grease her with an extra $20 ontop of the usual $100 for the house and $200 to the dancer.

Anyway, the vibe at EB was subdued. Dancers shuffled about with ennui. Got there about 2:30pm and there were maybe 7 or 8 dancers on. Maybe 8-10 customers. Sat at the rail and watched a few uninspired 4s,5s & a 6 put in their stage time reluctantly. Retreated to the bar a found a 7 who I couldn't recall being with before and went to an uncommonly quiet VIP room. Left satisfied but the place needs some new bood and needs to stop gouging.
