Jinxed by a black cat

Read some promising reviews of the Gold Club and so I went and checked it out. Surprisingly difficult to get to - I had to do a U-turn twice because I missed the entrance, as you go up the hill the club comes up quickly and because of the divided highway, if you miss it you have about another mile of driving to get to a u-turn spot and back again.

Parked in a large, open, well-lit parking lot. Chaps Pit Beef wasn't open, but I nodded at it out of respect (VERY good place, HIGHLY recommended if you haven't yet had). And then, a black cat crossed my path. Not a good sign.

It was a nice day, so the doorman/bouncer was outside enjoying the weather and he let me in the doors. Club not that dark inside. I was patted down, and charged $5 cover. Explained to him that it was my first time to the club, and he gave me a rundown, and said that Sundays were not the same as other days in the week because not that many guys show up and girls neither. Well, between that and the black cat, that's all you need to know.
