Go for the stage or the drink service. Not the lap dances

I had never been to The Gold Club before and I doubt I'll be back. Showed up around midnight on a Saturday. First of all the main room is Huge (Not A Negative just a comment). They had 2 out of 3 stages being worked. There were numerous couples there and the majority of them were sitting on the rail. The girls on stage were having a good time with the girls on the rail and were entertaining but once they were off stage (6 song rotation) they would disappear. It was like they weren't even attempting to work the room for private dances.

I personally prefer to spend my money on private dances so it was extremely disappointing. After about 45 minutes I was finally approached by one girl. She sat down we talked for about 3 minutes just normal dancer patron questions and she decided she needed to go take a smoke break. 10-15 minutes later she came back and after more chit chat she finally asked if I wanted a dance. I paid for 2. She started half-way through the song (pet peeve) and did the standard run of the mill. Nothing special or remotely interesting.

I went back to the main room and sat another 45 minutes without being approached at all. In the 90 or so minutes I was there I saw probably 2 girls total approach patrons asking if they wanted a dance. In the same 90 minutes I had a waitress check if I needed anything approximately 6-10 times which if I had been drinking I would have loved so I can't knock the bar service. If the dancers worked half as hard as the waitresses this place would have been great.
