Not what I am looking for in a club
I should have just asked for my ID back and left the club when I saw that they were going to scan it. At my age even being asked for ID is unusual - I am in my 50's - no one is going to confuse me for someone under 21. From the customers end, there is no good that can come from allowing a strip club to scan your ID. The potential for identity theft alone is reason enough to be against the practice. Of course other bad things can happen.
Once in the club, things weren't much better. Though the dancers there were simply average, I got a few dances anyway. That's when I discovered that the surveillance state didn't stop at the entrance to the club. Apparently club management thinks that employing a bouncer to prevent people from having a good time at the club is a good idea.
This was my first and last trip to Bandaids.
