Paid a visit to Ricks on a recent trip to Seattle. I hadn't been there since the big "remodel." Actually the place seemed much as I remembered it from before; the main addition are the high-back seats to the left of the DJ booth. At least now there is a bit of privacy in the lapdance area. The downside is that dances here are all $30 instead of the old $20. I was there on a weekday afternoon, and there were at least two dozen girls working. They ranged between 6 and 9 with more sixes than nines. Fortunately, Rick's most important drawing-card, the off-the-charts lap dances have not changed. If anything, they've gotten better. All four of my lap dance experiences were unbelievably high mileage--probably the best on the entire west coast. And all of the ladies I was with were very friendly and personable--unlike some who I have encountered in other clubs. The place loses a full point because of the condition of the so-called men's room. As others have commented, its simply a disgrace. I recommend staying away from Rick's if you have been drinking a lot of beer.
