Things have changed a bit since...

Things have changed a bit since I last visited. Bare Assets is still the place to go in the Tampa Bay area, IMHO, but it's lost a bit of its quaintness - if that's a term you can use for a strip club. Success can do that. The new parking lot, fenced and lit up like a ball field, but hidden from the street if you don't want your car seen, handles the extra cars, and there are plenty of girls working -- 37 when I was there last Thursday. They were impressive, something for every taste but all at least acceptable. Most are young, slim and very friendly. There seems to be a lot of turnover, and several girls I spoke with said they also worked at the Brass Flamingo.

The private dance routine has been modified. The front lapdance room is for the $20-$25 "topless" dances only. The VIP room in the back is now used for the $40 nude dances in addition to the 1/2 hour sessions (price raised from $160 to $200 - they said that the other Pasco clubs were charging that much). It appears that the curtains on the private rooms are gone for good. Too bad. But I had a great time, well worth my $200. The rules on touching are still very liberal, and satisfying. And the beer is still $3.50.

Well worth a visit.
