A neighborhood dive bar with cute women dancing on the stage
MTM's looks like a strip club from the outside. It's a low block building with no windows and a door that isn't particularly welcoming. There is ample parking. The inside of the club pretty much looks like a strip club with a stage in the center, chairs around the stage and then small tables in the rest of the space. The bar is at one side and seemed to have a decent selection. There is a pool table, which surprised me, though I didn't see anyone play.
Lighting is reasonable for watching the stage dances. Music level is reasonable for enjoying, but still being able to hold a conversation. Generally, it seemed like many other lower end strip clubs. I was a bit surprised that smoking was allowed and common. I'd forgotten what it's like to be in tobacco country. I've only just put my finger on what was odd about the place. It seems very much like a neighborhood bar that happens to have dancers rather than a strip club that has a bar as a way of ripping people off.
Early in the evening, I'm told that it was mostly newcomers. At some point (except for me), they cleared out and it was regulars. There was one couple (apparently regulars) who seemed to have a good time. There were also two women and a man who arrived at some point later in the evening.
