I left work early for this?

I had some time to kill this past Friday, so I figured I'd check out Jen's after its latest closure. So Jen's Den is an interesting place. Just a few years ago, it would be packed with customers and a variety of dancers - mostly 6's with the occasional 8 and all generally high-mileage. It was always a bit edgy, some dancers were more aggressive than others. Every 6 months or so it would shut down for anywhere from 2 weeks up to 6 months for various reasons - plumbing, health department, liquor license, etc. Each time, it seemed the quality of girls went down.

This time, I pulled into the parking lot and saw bunch of cars (maybe 8) - good sign. But everyone was hanging out in their cars or in the parking lot - bad sign. I think there was one lonely AA dancer texting at the bar, no customers or bar tender. The place was so dark I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. This club is just circling the bottom of the toilet, waiting for the final flush. It's a shame, really the quality of the clubs in the area has been going downhill.

Anyway, I walked in past the one dancer, looked around and turned back. I think she said something to me as I left, but I didn't want to bother her at work. Just looked like nothing could happen here except regret. Then I continued my quest to find a good club in Akron - but that's another review...
