Sunday night

Went in to Oasis on the Sunday night before the hurricane. Arrived at 11 pm and to my surprise it was crowded. All seats at both bars taken, and nearly all tables too, but I did find a table against the wall near the entrance.

There was a double date right by my table and other couples, and so with the lack of dances on the floor it really felt like a normal restaurant or bar. An older guy at the high top next to me in the corner had 6 or 7 dancers with him. If they were called on stage they would just immediately come back to his table when done. So just like it's been regularly reported, the girls here tend to stick with regulars.

Around 1 am about half the club cleared out and I moved to a table close to the stage by the DJ stair case. A newer girl sat with me and after a few dances I actually got her to do some stick shifting under the table. Wound up having a good time with her and will probably return sooner than later.
