Avoid this place!

I should have known better - away from home, away from the reliable, decent value clubs I know - in NY for a few days, I passed by this place and, like the proverbial moth to the flame, was 'drawn' to the neon lights and thoughts of sexiness inside. Figured it would, at best, be terrible - but would serve at least one purpose - teaching me some kind of lesson about staying out of NY clubs and, hopefully, I wouldn't get burned too badly. So here's the summary: $20 entry (probably typical for NY, at around 9pm) - obligation to buy one drink from the bar which was about 50% higher priced than most other clubs I have been to. A selection of ladies there - ok, I suppose, but the feeling this was a rip-off-joint tainted everything and made them all look worse than they actually were. Dances were $20 (maybe typical for NY). Topless only, but that was as expected. Very tedious fare. There was a rectangular stage in the room beyond the entrance area and bar with one dancer on stage. That was the place for lap dances too. I was told there were two upgrade options - a back room of some kind for more 'contact' starting at, i think she said, $200, and an upstairs room for even more 'contact' starting at $400. Didn't want any more contact than the lame single dance I had just had, so I exited. Lesson well learned! Cash burned.
