Not worth the $20 cover
Goodfellas is located in what looks like a run down light industrial area. Not a nice neighborhood, but not scary. The club has a large free parking lot. There was a food truck selling gyros in the lot. Another strip club, the Silver Slipper, is literally right across the street.
There was a huge fat guy that looked like Jabba the Hutt sitting on a bench outside. I don’t know if he worked there, or was just hanging around, but as I walked up he yelled “you have a customer” to the doorman who collected the ridiculous $20 cover charge.
The club is pretty big, but on this Thursday evening it was very slow, so a semi-transparent curtain was drawn across the middle of the club, cutting it in half. Through the curtain, I could see what would be the main stage and a large seating area if the whole club was open. On my side of the curtain, there was a small circular stage just inside the door. The club is not fancy, but not a dive either.
