I get why the reviews aren't great, but you can have a good time.
This place is a pretty typical dive. When you walk in, it's dark, and it takes a moment for your eyes to adjust. It's pretty much just one big open room, with an elevated stage up front with a couple poles, and another stage off toward the back. Most often when I've been there, the back stage isn't used. On a Friday or Saturday night, they might have both stages in use at once. I'll reiterate: it's a dive. It's not gross, but it's not fancy. Plain old tables and chairs, wood paneling, like Moe's Tavern from the Simpsons, but with naked ladies.
In terms of dancers, it's a mix. There were definitely one or two attractive dancers, and you spend the evening waiting for them to come on stage. It's a D.C. club, so stage dances only. Given those limitations, this place stands out from others in town, where dancers don't get on the floor and can be reluctant to show everything. Here, the stage is elevated, and dancers are at eye level. When you come up to tip them, the dancers will spread wide for you, right up close.
THe value is good. Drinks are about what you'd expect; 7-8 I think. Dancers will show you pretty much everything for a few bucks.
