Mediocre at best.

In the interest of full disclosure I attended Syracuse University and used to stop by the 'Pine when funds allowed. This place is stuck in a time warp. That was over 20 years ago and the place has not changed a bit. The dwarf owner Gary would rather pocket his profits than invest in any improvement to the interior. Actually the VIP area seems to be new and more private. Other than that think cheap catering chairs and tables you find at weddings at the local Elks lodge. Then again this IS Syracuse. Venue located on the corner of a safe hood. Parking was not an issue. $5 cover. SMALL. My college apartment was bigger.

The bar is just there as you enter. My bourbon was $9. On this night, a well busted blonde came up to me and gave the immediate hustle of asking for a dance. Now I like to settle in a bit first and get the lay of the land and enjoy a cocktail but before my eyes can adjust to the dimly lit venue this creature came up on me and asked for a dance. $20. On the mirror behind the bar the rates are published. I think it was $100 for 15 minutes. Funny thing is after I refused the dance, she simply just asked "can i get $20' I laughed in her face and prepared to leave.

Other posts are spot on. The hood rats that do work here simply show no interest in meeting anyone and after their shift sit amongst each other or regulars. This place sucks.
