Two Visits

I came to this club a couple of times, the first for my bachelorette (that was the Friday between 11 pm and 1:30 am) and the second just to chill with a friend and get a few dances (Wednesday around 10). I know "bachelorette" usually suggests a crowd of shitty rowdy straight women monopolizing the club, but this was me and a couple of close friends (and we all like women). Free cover the first time, not the second. Cover is way too high for what amounts to a nude juice bar, but that's true for any Seattle club. Located right next to the stadiums in SODO, not a super sketch location.

First visit (bachelorette): stage dancers were a good mix of ethnicities and body types, but I was generally ignored despite tipping generously, while the men a row back who were watching and throwing $0 got more attention. Pretty used to this as a femme who shows up at lady clubs without a guy on my arm, but was hoping for at least a look in my direction. After watching a few girls dance (and I use the term loosely; it was a lot of standing, posing, and pole "tricks" that looked like the dancers might hurt themselves), an energetic and cute girl named Riley showed up to sell dances. She and another dancer (forgot her name) took my friend and me back to get a double dance. YMMV, but there was pretty extensive one-way contact. Paid for two dances, asked her to find me again later for another. Watched some more stage dances, was pretty unimpressed. When she did find me again about half an hour later, she reeked of cigarettes and booze and was pretty sloppy. Got one more dance, she fell over and couldn't keep it together, so my friends and I left.

Second visit (with a friend): paid stupid cover this time. Club was EMPTY but for a couple of bored-looking guys. One girl on side stage practicing tricks, not really dancing. Mainstage dancers were better than the first visit. Sat at tip rail again, tipped about the same amount, very different results (at least two dancers came over to hang). Didn't see anyone I really felt like getting a dance with, so I left about $40 on the stage and left after less than an hour.
