surprisingly comfortable

Finished meetings early and had a few hours before my flight. I could have changed to an earlier flight but I wanted to check out the St James club that is pretty near the airport. On my way to St James, I stumbled on Houston Dolls, a pretty trashy looking building in a small shopping center. Walked in to find no cover at about 4:00 PM I think, got a $5 beer and settled in to watch the stage. Stage performances were quite sporadic, sometimes 5 or 10 minutes between performers but it's very dark and the beer was cold. Dancers were not top shelf but a couple different ones stopped by to visit and promise all kinds of wonderful experiences.

There are some pretty private back rooms that don't look entirely comfortable on my short tour but they were dark and could easily fit the purpose. Around 5:30 I bolted to check out the St James but after a 30-minute visit I wound up back here. That's how comfortable it was.

Didn't try any dances but from what I saw of them there was a lot of contact and at $20 per they looked pretty decent. The club thinned out around 7 to the point that there were no dancers around, I assume shift change, but I had to leave about then anyway.
