Is this all Boston's Got?

Was staying downtown for one night on weekday. Got in pretty late, but decided to check out the local talent anyway. Headed to the Glass Slipper and was greeted by a bunch of drunk customers on their way in. Paid my $10 cover, and proceeded inside. Overall it looked like an average local bar, except for one "dancer" walking around a poll behind the bar. There were several semi-circle booths along the outside wall, and of course bar seating.

I sat down at the bar an order a mixed drink, $14, not bad, but not great. After a couple songs, was approached from behind by an attractive lady, and she invited me to come sit at a booth. I accepted, and we had some small talk. A waitress asked if I'd like to by "the lady" a drink. I said sure, then the lady asked if I was aware that the drink was $30! I said heck no, that's ridiculous. The lady offered a private dance for the same price. I accepted, and had a nice dance, with nice, but respectful touching. Headed back to the hotel after the one dance, but would probably go back again.
