Delayed Review

Returned after about a month and a half hiatus to visit Follies. It has been a bit - combination of work, and other distractions. I did more planning than I often do because I heard Shadow, Droid, Hamster and perhaps others might be there. I didn't arrive until a few minutes before 12 but there were already a couple of PLs in the lot. They open at different times on weekends, Saturday is usually a little earlier than Sunday's doors. Second one through the door and headed to "the" corner seat but moved one over next to big VIP so Shadow could have the regular spot. It was a beautiful day after some rainy weather so wasn't sure what the turnout would be like.

The afternoon started really slow with only 3-4 dancers for the first hour plus. It was about 1:30 when the girls started to make it out on the floor...probably 15-20 came out at about the same time right around 1:45pm. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, the mix of girls is still out of wack for my taste which leans heavily towards white spinners. At one point I did a "Census" of the half of the room the guys and I were gathered in. Of the 26 dancers in view 18 were black, 6 were hispanic and 2 were white. For my fellow hounds were doing just fine as their tastes seem to be more eclectic.

This trip wasn't a total loss though. I did have a few dances from one of the mixed girls that has had a number of nice comments here. I also enjoyed visiting with the guys when we weren't getting dances. I was surprised at how few VIPs were being had. The rooms were actually open more than occupied. No one went into big VIP that I noticed
