Friendly Neighborhood Bar

I just moved in to town and decided to go to the nearest strip joint. The place is a little run down, pretty dark and definitely has an unconventional set up. Cover was cheap, $5 and the bar prices were reasonable. Another note is that it is CASH ONLY, but the ATM there was reasonable and charged a very low fee. One thing to note is that since this is San Jose, and there is a full bar, that means no nudity or topless dancers.

Dancers were very friendly and were easy to talk to. The set up is definitely a little string, not so much a stage as a slightly raised platform in the middle of the floor. Some guys would even get dances, in front of everybody which was a little... strange.

I had a good time drinking a couple beers, watching a game and taking in a couple of dances. Definitely low-key and relaxing. So if you're for a place that's cheep and has no pretension then AJ's is a great place to spend an evening.
