Value ratings may be misleading here

I rated this club a 5 on Value because, honestly, you pay almost nothing and you get almost nothing. Seems like a fair trade-off, I guess.

I was up in Middlesex County with a few hours to kill and I drove past this place. I had skimmed through a few reviews of Black Betty's once and they seemed less than inviting, but I was still curious. First things first. The club appears to be a blue and white converted house on Rt. 35. Check the pictures on Google first to familiarize yourself with what it looks like, otherwise you might just drive right past it without realizing. The parking lot is fairly small, with lots of broken pavement and concrete. I was lucky and there was one spot available right in front of the door. Once inside the ceiling feels somewhat low for a strip club, maybe only 7 feet high. As has been stated in prior reviews, the place has a biker vibe to it. Probably 95% of the clientele that I saw were blue collar white folks. As such, they play a steady stream of heavy metal, hard rock, and country music.

It looked like there were a few tables in the back, but most patrons were seated at the bar which surrounds the stage, and so did I. The girls dance in rotation and then come around to collect their tips. Since they are on the other side of the bar there is little contact with them during tipping. It's too bad, because some of them were very pretty and most of them were just my type: white trash American girls. There were around 8 white dancers and maybe one or two WOCs. Each stage set is timed to be just long enough for the previous dancer to come around and collect tips twice from each customer. The bartenders were not very service oriented, bordering on rude, although I did eventually get served my drink.
