Things change
Even though i am often in the area of the Hustler Club it's been several years since i've actually taken the time to stop in and spend some time there. My normal mode of operation is to visit the smaller dive bars looking for a gem among the riff raff but after so many disappointments in Cleveland and Akron area dive bars i made a long delayed return to Hustler.
Though it's several years old now Hustler still looks fairly new and well maintained outside and inside a big change from the dumps that i've been frequenting the past several years. I paid the $10 cover and did a quick walk thru before circling back to the bar off the entrance to order a drink. There were around 8-10 customers and the same number of dancers scattered around the club, most of the dancers had their faces buried in their phones. Although the overall dancer quality was definitely above an average dive bar i noticed that at least half of them were the chubby type that i recall never seeing there in years past. Some guys like them, i don't. There were also 2 7s that did appeal to me but they sat with the same guys the whole time i was there.
I sat in a booth along the wall and watched the on again off again stage show, a dancer would do 2 songs with a break song in between before the next dancer, very boring. Some dancers danced in 2 piece bikinis and removed their tops exposing covered nipples per Ohio law on the second song. Some of the chubbys wore 1 piece mini dresses and never peeled them down or off during the second song i suppose because they didn't want to show the extra weight they were carrying.
